Hello Fearless readers!
And a happy March to you!
First off, many thanks to everyone who has bought, started reading, or sent me any kind of feedback on my second book: Finding Silvereyes. It’s been pointed out that this book is noticeably longer than Becoming Glitch, which itself isn't exactly short, so a lot of folks who just started reading it (especially if they got it at my launch party) haven’t been able to finish it yet.
With that said, I am always curious for constructive feedback, both directly, and in the form of reviews (on Amazon, Goodreads, word of mouth, etc). So, if you are in the process of reading either of my books, please know that it really helps me out if you are able to leave a review (even a short one) on any of the aforementioned sites, as well as by sending me any feedback you have in person.
Speaking of reviews, the first editorial review (i.e. ‘official’ review by a fancy book review service) was just posted for Finding Silvereyes by the Independent Review of Books. Here’s a link to what they had to say, which I’ll also make available on the front page of my website.
I found it interesting that they clearly read the book, but that they repeatedly referred to the team being made up of teenage superheroes when, in fact, not all of the team members are. So, general question, how old do you think the main characters are?
Having said all of that, I’ll cap this update off by mentioning that work has begun on book 3. I have a lot of ideas for it, but if you have anything in particular you’d like to suggest, this is a great time to tell me.
I’ve contacted my narrator who did the audiobook of Becoming Glitch and, although he’s very busy right now, he expressed interest in narrating Finding Silvereyes. My hope is to have the audiobook out before Christmas.
As always, you can reach out to me through my website, through my author email, or on my Facebook Author Account.
I look forward to your feedback and wish you happy reading.
